Oman is located in the Southwest Asian continent on the Arabian Peninsula. United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Yemen are all located closer to Oman. The country has Madha, an exclave which is guarded by the United Arab Emirates and Musandam, which are separated by Emirati Territory. The capital city is Muscat. The economy of Oman is dependant upon oil. Apart from oil there has been development in real estate sector. To build up the workforce there has been huge exodus of workforce from various parts of India, especially the Southern most part of the country. The economy of Oman is also dependant upon tourism.

There are some prominent places of tourist attractions located in Oman. Every year there has been god turnaround of tourist traffic to visit the places of interests in and around Oman. As already highlighted Oman is a popular tourist spot. It is known for its lovely tourist attraction which attracts the tourists from all around the globe to visit Oman. Say, for example, Wadis is a popular tourist spot which is known for its beaches and mountains. Jebel Shams is Oman’s tallest mountain and is a popular place for camping. There are some shopping malls situated in Oman, most of the malls have been set up in the capital city Muscat. The biggest and the popular mall is the Muscat City Center.
Apart from the above there are other tourist attractions in Oman. These are beaches like Qurum Beach, Yeti and Bandar Al-Jissah. There are also other places of tourist attractions in the capital city like Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Clock Tower Square and Al Alam palace and various others historical forts of repute. There is also another desert city like Nizwa and along with mosques and castles.
